Free Crochet Pattern- Crochet Bag Holder – Crochet Towel Ring

The Open Road crochet towel ring and crochet bag holder are perfect additions to any kitchen or pantry! The patterns are easy to follow and perfect for an advanced beginner. The Open Road crochet bag holder features an open top to stuff in tons of those plastic grocery bags. The bottom is worked around a hair elastic that keeps all of the bags inside until you need one. Then you simply pull from the bottom, one bag at a time. The Open Road crochet towel ring is the perfect modern update to the classic crochet topped kitchen towel. Lay the ring over the oven handle and then pull the towel through the rings. Super cute and super functional!

Both patterns are available free below. Or grab the ad-free PDFs as a bundle from Ravelry or Etsy! When you order from Ravelry or Etsy you will get both patterns written in bullet point format for easy reading, step by step photos that are added after each pattern for easy printing, printable hang tags for each pattern that are perfect when selling or gifting your makes, and printable care cards!

  • I am working on the bag holder and love the pattern but my seam is so slanted. Is there a way to keep it straight?

    • Hi Regina- the chain 3 does not count as a stitch. Make sure you’re starting in the first st and joining to the first st, not the turning ch. your seam should stay fairly straight.
