Supplies
- Yarn: medium/4/worsted weight cotton
- approx: 90 yds/82m/50g
- “I Love This Cotton” by Hobby Lobby used in the pattern
- 5 mm (H) crochet hook
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- (2) 2” wooden rings
- (Optional) Stitch Markers
Gauge
Following stitch pattern from section B:
2” x 2” = 8 stitches x 5 rows
Notes
- This pattern is written using standard US terms.
- Final length (not including rings): 50”
- Adjust the length by adding or subtracting repeat rows in section B
- ch 1 at the beginning of rows does NOT count as a stitch.
- Stitch counts are noted at the bottom right of each row in [ ].

Tie yarn onto 1st wooden ring. Insert hook into ring, yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through loop on hook.

Finishing
Fasten off leaving a long tail of about 12”.
Thread a yarn needle on the tail. Sew the wood ring to the end of the strap by whip stitching through each SC 3 times each.
Fasten off. Sew in ends.
Form a loop on each end of the strap by pulling the strap back through the wood ring.
Insert yoga mat or rolled blanket through the loops and pull the strap to tighten.
