The Downtown Coffee Sleeve is a great pattern to work up for markets and craft fairs! This free coffee sleeve crochet pattern is suitable for an advanced beginner/intermediate crocheter. You will only need a small amount of cotton yarn and it works up rather quickly! This free crochet pattern includes two different sizes. The small coffee cozy is perfect for most carry out coffee cups and the large size works great for cold brews!

Supplies
- Yarn: Approximately 35-45y // 20-25g // 32-42m category 4/worsted weight/aran cotton (I Love This Cotton, Peaches ‘n Cream, Sugar ‘n Cream etc)
- 5 mm (H) crochet hook
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- Stitch Markers (optional)
Gauge
8 sc x 8 rows = 2” x 2”
Finished sizes:
Small-3.5” tall by 3.5” wide at the bottom
Large- 4” tall by 4” wide at the bottom
Notes
- This pattern is written using standard US terms.
- This pattern is worked in 2 parts; the cuff is worked back and forth in rows. The body is worked in rounds.
- Be mindful of your tension on the body. If your tension is too tight, you may choose to increase the size of your hook for the body.
- The turning chain does NOT count as a stitch.
- Stitch counts are noted at the bottom right of each row as follows: small[large]
- Mark the first stitch of each round to easily find the join position.
- Instructional photos are added after the pattern.

- The finished sleeve is meant to be snug. This will accommodate for some stretch with use without stretching too much.
- To adjust the width, add/subtract rows to the cuff in multiples of two. Remember to adjust Round 1 to match the cuff.
- To adjust the height, add/subtract repeat rows from the body in multiples of two.

Forming the Cuff
Join the two short ends to form a circle. Ch 1, sl st up the side going under both loops on both ends. Turn the cuff right side out.
Body
Round 1 Working along the side of the cuff
- Ch 1, sc in the end of each row of the cuff.
- Join with a sl st to first sc.
